Jessye Norman School of the Arts Presents J-Tank, A Family Business Start-Up Experience

The Downtown Development Authority is pleased to partner with the Augusta Partnership for Children, Inc., Augusta Housing Authority, and First Community Bank to sponsor the Jessye Norman School of the Arts’ J-Tank entrepreneur start-up experience!
Mentored and coached by some of the community’s best business and thought leaders, including our Board Vice-Chairman, James Heffner, JNSA students and their families are several weeks into an intensive educational incubator, in which they are learning how to bring their potential enterprises to fruition.
J-Tank was founded to help address knowledge and funding gaps in the community, foster a larger spirit of familial collaboration, create opportunity, and equip young future business owners for success. Following training, family teams will take part in a Pitch-A-Thon on Saturday, September 18th, 2021, from 10am-2pm. This event is open to the public and will culminate in the selection of business to receive funding and an invite into the thirteen-week J-Tank academy!
