On December 7, 2023, the DDA of Augusta and Augusta Tech announced the name and location of the new microenterprise center at a downtown Augusta press conference. Accelerate Augusta will be housed in the “Old Chamber Building” at 600 Broad Street with renovations slated to begin in January 2024. Thanks to a 2022 $2.3 million congressional spending grant secured by Senator Raphael Warnock, new entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners alike will have access to resources and guidance at one centralized location.
